Girl Scouts Hosting Election Season Cookie Booths

New Girl Scout cookie, Rah-Rah Raisins, will be available

Girl Scouts across Connecticut will be offering something sweet to voters this election season. Numerous cookie booths located throughout the state at schools, grocery stores, and other businesses will allow cookie lovers to stock up for a limited time on their favorite treats from November 1 – November 9, 2014. It’s your first opportunity to purchase our brand-new cookie, Rah-Rah Raisins! Rah-Rah Raisins are made with whole grain oats, juicy raisins, and trendy Greek yogurt-flavored chunks. You can be the first to purchase these cookies – in time for the holidays!

Rah-Rah Raisins joins the cookie lineup alongside Thin Mints, Samoas, Do-si-dos, Tagalongs, Trefoils, and Savannah Smiles, all of which will be available for purchase.

The Cookie Program is a hands-on leadership and financial literacy program that shows what a girl can do. Girls learn five skills: goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics. This program is a part of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, which helps girls discover new things about themselves and others, connect with people and build relationships, and take action to make their community or the world a better place.
