It's Back to School for Monroe's Oldtimers
A reunion for all students who graduates Monroe Elementary School before 1958 is scheduled to be held at Roberto's on Sept. 16.

School days may be a distant memory for Monroe's students of the '40's and '50's, but the bell is ringing again for them this September. It's time for all to come back from their long recess and head toward their class reunion.
The gang's coming back together again on Sept. 16 for the 10th biannual "Monroe/Stepney Old Timers Reunion" and dinner to be held at Roberto's Restaurant, 505 Main Street, from 1 to 5 p.m.
The event was organized by the students who graduated Monroe Elementary School in 1944, but anyone who graduated from Monroe Elementary School before 1958 is welcome to attend, along with their spouses, children and friends.
