Masuk Boys Basketball Players to be Honored on Senior Night
A triumph over Stratford qualified the Panthers for the Class L state tournament. A win over New Fairfield Tuesday would get them to the SWC Tournament.
The Masuk Boys Basketball team will honor its senior class tonight with festivities in the school gymnasium beginning at 6:45. Five seniors will be recognized including Nick Davies, Jamie Johnson, Chris Quinlan, Anthony Salvatore and Christian Terrell.
After a disappointing loss to Oxford earlier in February, the team has put together four straight wins including two road upsets: One at Brookfield last Tuesday, and the other a hard fought battle against Stratford last Friday.
The win over Stratford qualifies the Panthers for the Class L state tournament with first round play to begin in early March.

On Tuesday night Masuk hopes to continue its winning streak when it hosts New Fairfield in its final regular season game. A win over New Fairfield would qualify them for the eight-team SWC tournament, with the first round being held at Masuk High School on Saturday.
