Monroe Drivers: DMV Cancels All Road Tests Before 1 PM
The newly fallen snow has made the roads too slippery, the Connecticut DMV said in an announcement Friday morning.

An announcement Friday morning from the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles:
The Department of Motor Vehicles for Friday, January 9, is cancelling road tests at ALL offices until 1 p.m.
Road tests will resume at 1 p.m at all DMV offices.

The cancellation is due to poor and slippery driving conditions from snow.
Anyone with a scheduled road test can call DMV to choose a new date.

The numbers to call are 860-263-5700 if someone is within the Hartford area and toll-free 800-842-8222 for those outside the Hartford area.
