Monroe Man Charged in Naugatuck After Pushing and Shoving in the Street: Police

Naugatuck police say at 11:31 p.m. on Sept. 6 officers responded to High Street by Maple Street for a domestic disturbance call between a boyfriend and girlfriend.

During an argument, Gerald Vandrooge, 26, of Hidden Knls Circle in Monroe and Dominique Vadnais, 22, of Judson Lane in Bethlehem, allegedly pushed and shoved each other in the roadway, police said.

They were both charged with breach of peace and third-degree assault.

They were both released after posting a $2,000 bond.
