Monroe Man Driving Under the Influence Crashes Into Tree: Police
The incident occurred on Wednesday.

A Monroe man was charged with driving under the influence after police say he crashed into a tree.
According to police, the department received a report of a single vehicle motor vehicle crash on Old Tannery Road at the intersection of Route 110 on Wednesday at around 12:40 a.m.. Investigation revealed that Erik Siclari, 23 turned onto Old Tannery Road from Route 110 and lost control of his vehicle, striking a tree, police said.
Siclari failed standardized field sobriety tests, police said.

He was charged with driving under the influence and failure to drive in the proper lane.
Siclari was given a $500 bond and a court date of May 25.
