Monroe Men Plea No Contest In Teen Sex Assault Case
Two Monroe men pleaded no contest to reduced charges in a case where police said a teenage girl was raped.
MONROE, CT — Two Monroe men pleaded no contest to sexually assaulting a 16-year-old.
Police said that Brian Werle, 21, and Wyatt Palin, 20, tied the victim to the bed and repeatedly raped her after giving her wine and marijuana at Werle's home in 2017, according to the Connecticut Post. The two previously pleaded not guilty to first-degree sexual assault and related charges.
Palin and Werle pleaded no contest to fourth-degree sexual assault, second-degree unlawful restraint and third-degree assault. The plea deal calls for two years of probation.
