Monroe Residents Asked Not to Park On Streets Wednesday Night into Thursday

BREAKING: A snowstorm is expected to bring up to a foot of snow to the entire state Thursday morning.

MONROE, CT — With the impending snow storm coming to town, officials are asking residents to keep their cars off the street and to stay off the roads.

The Town of Monroe issued an announcement Wednesday morning urging residents to keep off the roads as much as possible. Residents are also asked not to park their cars in the roads tonight and during any snow.

"It is not safe for emergency situations and it makes proper plowing that much more difficult," read the town's announcement.
