Monroe, Stepney Fire Companies Respond to Trumbull Structure Fire
An evacuation order was given for a possible structural collapse of the White Plains Road building.

MONROE, CT — The Stepney Fire Department was dispatched for Truck 100 to respond with an engine from Monroe Volunteer Fire Department, No.1 Inc. in order to provide mutual aid in Trumbull for a structure fire, according to their Facebook page.
An evacuation was given for a possible structural collapse of the White Plains Road building, the fire company said. After exterior operations extinguished most of the fire, Truck 100's crew was sent inside to put out hot spots, firefighters said.
Botsford Fire Rescue provided station coverage to Monroe while they helped Trumbull Fire Department. The building sustained heavy damage, however, no injuries were reported.
