Monroe-Trumbull Toastmasters Meeting Tuesday, March 29th

Monroe-Trumbull Toastmasters is a local chapter of Toastmasters International, a world leader in communication and leadership development. Toastmasters International’s global network is comprised of 15,400 chartered clubs in 135 countries with 332,000 memberships.

Members learn to become leaders through communication by giving speeches, taking on meeting roles, receiving and giving constructive feedback, listening, and mentoring others to help them achieve their goals. Each meeting runs smoothly with a clear agenda stating each members’ role. Meetings are one-hour long. They begin promptly at 12 noon and end at 1 PM. Members are encouraged to participate but progress at their own pace.

Monroe-Trumbull Toastmasters offers a positive and supportive environment where you can face your fear of public speaking. Or perhaps you’re okay with public speaking but have a story to tell. Giving a speech is a great way to tell your story. Speeches can be entertaining, informative and inspiring.

We meet every other Tuesday from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at BodySmart, Crescent Village, 115 Main Street – Unit 11, Monroe, CT. (Entrance and parking in rear.) Our next 3 meetings are on March 29, April 12, and April 26. Guests are welcome at each meeting. Meetings are open to residents 18 and older from Monroe, Trumbull, Bethel, Easton, Redding, Newtown, and other neighboring communities. Click here to visit our website.
