St. Jude Church Columbiettes To Host 'Basket Bonanza' In Monroe
Proceeds from the fundraiser will go to various charitable efforts, including Hopeline, the St. Jude Food Pantry, and support for local vets
MONROE, CT — The Saint John XXIII Columbiettes of St. Jude Church in Monroe will be hosting a "Basket Bonanza" fundraiser on Oct. 14-15.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will go to various charitable efforts that the Columbiettes sponsor, such as special needs camperships, Hopeline, the St. Jude Food Pantry, support for local veterans organizations and Christmas baskets for the disadvantaged.
Participants will be able to purchase a sheet of 25 tickets for $20.00 at the door of the event and can choose which basket(s) they wish to win. There will be 60+ baskets containing a variety of goods, gift cards and services to choose from.

The event will be held in the Msgr. Sabia Social Hall at St. Jude Church, 707 Monroe Turnpike. Hours for the event will be Oct. 14 from 3:30 to 7 p.m., and Oct.15 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Basket winners will be chosen at 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 15. Winners need not be present, and can pick up their baskets between 3-6 p.m. on the 15th.
