Parks and Recreation Offers Studio On The Move Art Classes

Studio On The Move provides enriching art and design experiences to children of all ages.  All classes are held at Wolfe Park’s Pond View Picnic Area in the multi-purpose room.  Lessons and projects are age appropriate with all supplies included.  Kim Henderson, local art professional, instructs all lessons.  Session 4 will be held on Fridays starting February 28 through March 28.  Please register on-line at www.monroerec.org.  Registration closes on February 26th.   

Art Expression for Tots will focus on fine motor skills, drawing, cutting, gluing, assembling and color relationships.  Ages 2-4 will meet from 10-10:45 am.  Fee:  $75 residents/$95 non-residents.  

Art Explosion Paint is for children ages 5-8 and offers exposure to several different painting techniques using acrylic paint on canvas, wood and more. Program meets 5-6:00 pm.  Fee:  $105 residents/$115.50 non-residents.

Painting and Design Workshop will explore several different artists work.  Children ages 9-12 will be recreating masterpieces with their own individual style using canvas, wood and clay.  Program meets 6-7:00 pm.  Fee:  $105 residents/$115.50 non-residents.
