Woman Accused of Letting 10 Year-Old Drive Seeks Probation: Report
A Monroe woman was accused of letting her 10-year-old son drive on town roads while she recorded on Facebook Live.

MONROE, CT — A mom accused of letting her 10-year-old son drive her car on town roads while she recorded it on Facebook has filed a motion for accelerated rehabilitation and is seeking probation, reports the Connecticut Post. Lisa Nussbaum, 38, would not plead guilty but would be placed on up to two years of probation under accelerated rehabilitation. If she does not commit a crime during those two years, the charges will be dismissed.
Nussbaum was arrested on March 3 after police received complaints from citizens who watched the video of a juvenile child driving.
Henry Hamlet, 40, of Monroe was arrested later after concerned citizens reported a second video to police. Further investigation revealed that Hamlet took the live video and posted it to Lisa Nussbaum's Facebook account, police say.
