The woman could face up to 100 years in prison.

A Florida woman was convicted of torching her Monroe home for insurance money, the Connecticut Post reports.
Amanda Azevedo, 39, was found guilty of first-degree arson, conspiracy to commit first-degree arson, conspiracy to commit insurance fraud, attempted first-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit first-degree larceny.
Evidence presented at the trial showed that Azevedo along with the help of Diniz Depena set fire to her $1.4 million home on Hunter Ridge Road in January 2008 that destroyed the home, the Post reports. She filed a claim with her insurance company and a investigation by private fire investigators revealed that the fire was likely set.
