Work's Going on Outside the Reda Center, But Stores are Open
The Reda Center is redoing its leaching fields.
Drivers wanting to stop at the Doughnut Inn for a cup of coffee or Home Plate Deli for lunch on Monday are encountering a cordoned off parking lot that has been torn up by an excavator. A crew is working to redo the leaching fields at the Reda Center, 483 Monroe Turnpike.
Adam Gitow, the owner of Computer Works, said his business and others in the shopping center are still open and will remain open for the project, which could take several days.
Customers of Home Plate Deli have been parking at the Comaro Shopping Center next door and walking over. The owners said customers are welcome to call in their orders ahead of time at (203) 445-8178.
