UNCASVILLE, CT — Mohegan Sun will embark on a $25 million renovation of its arena, according to The Hartford Business Journal.
The project is expected to begin following the Connecticut Sun's final season at the arena ends in September. The WNBA team is moving to Houston following its sale to Texas businessman Tilman J. Fertitta.
The arena upgrades will include better seating, food and beverage services, new flooring and lighting in concourses and improvements to entrance and arrival areas.
The arena will be temporarily closed during renovations.
