Applicants will be required to submit to fingerprinting and criminal background check. The average cost for this service is approximately seventy dollars ($70), which exceeds the applicant fee of $25; and engages vital Town Police resources, at taxpayer expense.

During the regular Town Council Meeting on January 14, I presented a motion to defer this Ordinance to the Planning Department for review, evaluate potential impact, and make neccesary recommendations, before the Town Council proceeded with an action, unfortunately this motion was denied.

More Importantly, this Ordinance could unintentionally create a greater competiton for our permanent, business owners that contribute to the Town's Grand List, through real and personal property taxes, and associated infrastruture fees...

The vendors have had their say...Now it's your turn!

I Urge All Business Owners to attend the Public Hearing on Monday February 11th, at 6:30pm!
