Breach of Peace, DUI, Burglary Charges

The following arrest information was supplied by Connecticut State Police and Montville Police. It does not indicate convictions.

Feb. 1

At 6:15 p.m., police arrested Zakiea D. Robinson, 22, of 17 Hobart Ave., Norwich, and charged her with breach of peace. She was assessed a $500 bond and given a Feb. 2 court date. The arrest came on Mohegan Sun Blvd.

At 11 p.m., police arrested Matthew Link Forte, 22, of 8 East Baltic St., Apt. B, Norwich, and charged him with breach of peace. The arrest came after a call about a disturbance in the parking lot of Henny Penny on Route 32.

Feb. 5

At 1:10 a.m., police responded to a one-car crash on the Oakdale Road in Montville. A vehicle driven by Roland E. Winstrom, 63, of 15 Evergreen Lane, Montville, hit a telephone pole on Route 163. Winstrom had fallen asleep, the report says, “due to a medical condition.” He was taken to Backus Hospital for minor injuries.

At 9:42 a.m., Montville Police arrested Michael T. Angelus, 18, of 476 Chesterfield Road, Oakdale, and charged him with third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and interfering with an officer. The arrest came after a person reported a minor confrontation with the suspect. Montville, East Lyme and Connecticut State Police responded, and found the suspect under a deck of a nearby home. Then, according to the report, the suspect fled into the woods. Montville and East Lyme Police chased him for about a half-mile before apprehending him, according to the report. He was assessed a $2,500 bond on the first charge, and is being held pending a Feb. 23 court date.

Feb. 7

At 9:53 p.m., police arrested Anh Pham, 43, of 27 Brooklawn St., New Britain, and charged him with driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, driving while under suspension, and failure to maintain lane. He was assessed a cash surety bond, though no amount was listed, and was given a Feb. 21 court date. The rrest came on Interstate 395, south of Exit 79A, after a traffic stop.
