At 5:12 p.m. Montville Police charged Travis Kalin, 19, of 5 Blumenthal Drive in Uncasville second degree breach of peace. He was assessed a $1,000 non-surety bond and was given a May 9 court date. The report said he was involved in an oral argument with Kaley Turcotte of Gales Ferry and the argument was called in by another citizen.

At 7:11 p.m. Connecticut State Police responded to a vehicle collision on Route 2A in Montville. James Cesavante, 35, of 25 Fairview Avenue in Dudley, Mass., was driving a Chevrolet and collided with 2002 Kia Sportage driven by Ali Schrader, 30, of 20 Cross Street in Waterford. The police report said there was minor damage to the vehicles and reported no injuries.

At 4:28 p.m. Connecticut State Police responded to a three-car collision on Route 85 near Daisy Hill Road in Montville. The first car was driven by Brian Lasky, 25, of 47 Corrina Lane in Salem and he sustained a laceration to the head and was transported to an area hospital. Lasky was driving a 1998 Ford Taurus, which sustained front bumper damage. The second car was a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix owned by Paul Malzahn, 53, of 105 Beckwith Hill Road in Salem but driven by Timothy Malzahn, 20, of the same address. Paul Malzahn was a passenger along with with Daniel Malzahn, 16, of the same address. The second car sustained rear bumper damage and there were no reported injuries. The third car was a 2007 Nissan Altima and driven by Kathleen Lovetere, 53, of 187 Forsyth Road in Uncasville. The third car received damage to the rear bumper and there were no reported injuries.
At 1:33 p.m. Connecticut State Police responded to an accident at the southbound off ramp at Exit 79 in Montville. The report said that Cathleen Wright, 50, of 91 Route 163 in Uncasville, was transported to the William W. Backus Hospital for a pre-existing health issue after the vehicle she was driving traveled out of its lane and into the right shoulder where it struck a metal beam guardrail with its left side.

At 9:54 p.m. Montville police arrested John J. Brennan, Jr., 52, of 239 Connecticut Blvd. in Montville, and charged him with disorderly conduct. The report said that Brennan was involved with an argument with his son, who is a juvenile, and an arrest warrant was issued by the court subsequent to the complaint. He was assessed a $5,000 bond and given a May 11 court date.
At 10:00 a.m. Montville police arrested Edward Patton, 53, of 74 Oak Hill Road in Oakdale, and charged him with disorderly conduct. The report said Patton was arrested on the strength of an arrest warrant for a domestic incident. Patton was assessed a $30,000 cash bond and given a May 10 court date.

At 8:47 p.m. Montville police arrested Bobby R. Liverman, 50, of 46 Connecticut Blvd in Oakdale, and charged him with second-degree criminal mischief. The report said that Liverman was arrested for slashing vehicle tires and was assessed a $2,500 non-surety bond and given a May 12 court date.

At 2:00 p.m. at the Radgowski Correctional Institute, the Connecticut State Police arrested Steven A. McDonald, 42, of 986 Norwich-New London Turnpike in Uncasville and Cory M. Hanley, 22, of the same address. The police report says they were found to be in possession of marijuana and were subsequently arrested. Both men were assessed non-surety bonds of an undisclosed amount. McDonald was given a June 2 court date, Hanley was given a June 9 court date.
At 5:14 p.m. Montville Police arrested Shawn E. Long, 33, of 23 Virginia Road in Oakdale, and charged him with disorderly conduct. The report says Long was arrested after a domestic incident. He was assessed a $1,000 non-surety bond and given a May 16 court date.
