The Following Arrest Information Was Supplied by Connecticut State Police and Montville Police. It Does Not Indicate Convictions.

May 23

At 9:45 p.m., police responded to 526 Fitch Hill Road, Montville, for a report that Michael Ewen, 21, had allegedly threatened his grandfather, Ronald Ewen. The reported incident concerned the younger Ewen’s pets. Michael Ewen was charged with threatening in the second degree, and disorderly conduct. He was given a May 25 court date and assessed a $10,000 bond.

At 5:09 p.m., Montville Police responded to a two-car accident at 1707 Route 85. A 2003 Dodge Stratus driven by Elizabeth K. Peeler, 23, of 165 North Moodus Road, Moodus, and a 2004 Chevy Aveo driven by Cooper Lanier Partin, 20, of Frisco, TX, collided. Peeler reported a possible knee injury. Partin reported no injuries. Both vehicles were towed.

At 1:36 a.m., police arrested Jorge Sarabia-Minor, 22, of 388 Blatchley Ave., New Haven, and charged him with failure to drive in the proper lane, driving a motor vehicle when registration or license is refused/suspended, and driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. He was assessed a $500 bond on the last charge, and given a June 14 court date. The arrest came after a traffic stop on Interstate 395 in Montville near Troop E headquarters.

At 3:50 a.m., police arrested Delfin Santiago, 55, of 242 Nautilus Drive, New London, and charged him with violating a protective order, interfering with police, and disorderly conduct. He was assessed a $75,000 cash bond and given a May 26 court date. The arrest came after a reported incident in Montville.

At 1:41 a.m., Montville Police arrested Timothy Chanthamala, 25, of 44 Norwich Ave., Norwich, and charged him with failure to drive right, and driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. He was assessed a $1,000 nonsurety bond on the latter charge and given a June 7 court date. The arrest came after a motor vehicle stop on Route 32 in Montville.

At 2:57 a.m., police arrested Lawrence Union, 55, of 91 Elm St., Manchester, and charged him with failure to register a motor vehicle eligible for commercial registration, speeding on highway up to 85 mph, and driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. He was assessed a $500 bond on the final charge and given  a June 7 court date. The arrest was made on Mohegan Sun Boulevard, after a motor vehicle stop.

May 27

At 11:34 p.m., Montville Police arrested Fatbardha Keli, 39, of 63 Horse Pond Road, Salem, and charged her on a warrant with evading: physical injury or property damage after a spot check on Route 85. She was assessed a $500 bond and given a court date of June 7.

 May 28

At 4:15 p.m., Montville Police responded to a home on the Old Colchester Road in Uncasville for a reported disturbance. Joseph Curran, 31, was charged with disorderly conduct, assessed a $1,000 nonsurety bond and given a May 31 court date.

At 12:45 a.m., police arrested Christopher Sanders, 26, of 85 West St., West Warwick, RI, and charged hi with driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, and driving without a license. He was assessed a $2,500 nonsurety bond on the first charge, and given a June 9 court date. The arrest came at a DUI spot check on Route 32.

At 12:59 a.m., Montville Police arrested Carolyn A. Tessada, 57, of 34 Laurel Point Drive, Oakdale, and charged her with failure to have lights lit and devices illuminated, and driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. She was assessed a $500 bond on the latter charge, and given a June 7 court date. The arrest came on Route 2A after a motor vehicle stop.

May 29

At 11:38 p.m., Montville Police arrested Weston W. Reynolds, 29, and charged him with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of alcohol out of the container, driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, and possession of narcotics. He was assessed a $5,000 bond on the final charge, and given a June 9 court date. The arrest came on Route 82 after a motor vehicle stop. The report says Reynolds was suspected to be in possession of heroin and cocaine.

At 7:49 p.m., Montville Police arrested Daniel W. Bellefleur, 62, of 13 Ledyard Ave., Groton, and charged him with failure to drive right, and driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. There was no bond amount listed. He was given a June 14 court date. The arrest came after a motor vehicle stop on the Chesterfield Road at Glendale Road.

On May 21 at 10:07 p.m., police responded to the Cochegan House, 976 Norwich-New London Turnpike, for a report that James Alston, 30, had escaped from the community release residential program, where he had been incarcerated on assault an narcotics charges. The report says that an extensive search of the area was conducted, but Alston was not found. An arrest warrant was issued on charges of first-degree escape, “with negative results.” On May 29, Alston turned himself in to Troop E. He was taken into custody and held on a $250,000 cash/surety bond, and given a May 31 court date.

May 30

At 3:29 p.m., Montville Police responded to 146 Maple Ave., Uncasville, for a report of a disturbance. They arrested Edward D. Klarmann, 24, of 146 Maple Ave., and charged him with disorderly conduct. He was assessed a $500 nonsurety bond, and given a May 31 court date.

May 31

At 1:50 p.m., Montville Police responded to 347 Route 163 for a report of a disturbance. They arrested Robert J. Porter, 41, of 347 Route 163, and charged him with violating a protective order. He was assessed a $2,500 cash bond and given a June 1 court date.

June 1

At 1:27 a.m., Montville Police arrested Erienne Molly Tenaglia, 22, of 14 Sandpiper Lane, East Lyme, and charged her with failure to drive right, traveling unreasonably fast, and driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. She was assessed a $500 nonsurety bond on the latter charge, and given a June 14 court date. The arrest came after a motor vehicle stop on the Oakdale Road.

At 4:05 a.m., Montville Police arrested Jeffrey C. Lamphere, 22, of 275 North Sterling Road, Sterling, and charged him with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, speeding on highway up to 85 mph and driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. He was assessed a $1,000 bond on the final charge and given a June 14 court date. The arrest came after a motor vehicle stop on Route 2A.
