DUI, Possession Charges
The following arrest information was supplied by Connecticut State Police and Montville Police. It does not indicate convictions.

March 30
At 3:06 a.m., police arrested Gamal Ali Qatabi, 22, of 181 Wilcox St., New Britain, and charged him with possession of less than 4 oz of marijuana. He was fined $150 and released. The arrest came after a traffic stop on Route 2A.
At 1:01 p.m., Montville Police arrested David Seaquest, 19, of 103 North Moodus Road, Moodus, and charged him with breach of peace, second-degree reckless endangerment, weapon in motor vehicle, possession of a dangerous weapon and possession of a controlled substance. The arrest followed what the report describes as a “domestic altercation” in the parking lot of Nature’s Art. The vehicle Seaquist was reportedly driving was stopped on Route 85. Sequist, the report says, was in possession of an illegal stun gun. A $10,000 surety bond was assessed, and he was given an April 2 court date.

March 31
At 2:11 a.m., police arrested Ronald Bishop, 29, of 41 Merlino Drive, Groton, and charged him with driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. A $500 nonsurety bond was assessed, and he was given an April 17 court date. The arrested came on Mohegan Sun Blvd. in Montville.

April 2
At 2:22 a.m., police arrested Kirk Mercado, 31, of 17 Crescent St., Uncasville, and charged him with driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. He was assessed a $500 cash bond and given an April 10 court date. The arrest came after a traffic stop on Maple Avenue.
