DUIs, Assault Charges, Interfering with an Officer

April 23

At 2:24 a.m., Montville Police arrested Melissa J. Prellwitz, 27, of 311 Greenwich Ave., Warwick, RI, and charged her with failure to drive right and driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. She was assessed a $500 surety bond on the latter charge and given a May 10 court date. The arrest came on Route 32 after a motor vehicle stop.

At 12:29 a.m., Montville Police arrested Todd L. Martell, 41, of 13 Soundview Drive, Pawcatuck, and charged him with failure to drive right and driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. He was assessed a $500 nonsurety bond on the latter charge, and given a May 10 court date. The arrest came on Route 32 after a motor vehicle stop.

April 24

At 7:10 a.m., Connecticut State Police arrested Nicole R Jones, 22, of 169 Woodland Drive, Uncasville and charged her with assault. She was assessed a $500 nonsurety bond and given an April 25 court date. They also arrested Edward T. Quinones, 20, of 309 Crystal Ave., New London, and charged him with criminal mischief. He was assessed a $500 nonsurety bond and given an April 25 court date. The arrests were made at 169 Woodland Drive.

At 1:30 a.m., police arrested Taylor Phillip, 18, of 56 Chapel Hill Road, Oakdale, and charged him with failure to drive right and possession of marijuana. He was assessed a $500 nonsurety bond and given a May 5 court date. The arrest came after a motor vehicle stop on Route 32.

April 27

At 1:53 a.m., police arrested Reginald Mickens, 28, of 1175 Boulevard, West Hartford, and charged him with interfering with an officer. The charge came on Route 2A, at Exit 2, when a motor stop was escalated into a DWI, the report says. Mickens was a passenger in the vehicle that was stopped. The report says he was told by troopers to stay in the vehicle, but attempted to leave it. A $1,000 cash bond was set and he was given a court date of April 27.

At 1:53 a.m., police arrested George W. Butler 3^rd, 25, of 385 Holcomb St., Hartford, and charged I with failure to maintain lane, driving an unregistered vehicle, driving with a suspended license and driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. He was assessed a $500 nonsurety bond and given a May 10 court date.

At 1:26 a.m., Montville Police arrested Jacquelyn Nichole Luz, 24, of 93 State Pier Road, New London, and charged her with failure to drive right and driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. The arrest came on Sandy Desert Road, after a motor vehicle stop.
