
A free, mortgage-assistance event for homeowners who need information or help with loan modifications, foreclosure prevention, state and federal assistance programs and other lending-related issues will be held Tuesday, Nov. 15, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Connecticut Convention Center, 100 Columbus Boulevard, Hartford.
Free parking will be available the Convention Center Garage.
Representatives from various mortgage lenders will be available to discuss your case personally.

Among them are: Bank of America; Citibank, NA; GMAC Mortgage, LLC; HSBC National Bank USA; JPMorgan Chase & Co.; First Niagara Bank; McCue Mortgage; Ocwen Loan Servicing, LLC; People's United Bank; Select Portfolio Servicing, Inc., Webster Bank, NA and Wells Fargo Bank, NA.
Any additions to that list will be available on the following website, www.ct.gov/dob/homeowner, which also lists the documents a homeowner needs to bring for assistance and directions to the event.
