Man Found Dead in Commuter Parking Lot in Montville: State Police
Police are investigating the untimely death but say there is no foul play suspected.

MONTVILLE, CT — Connecticut State Police are investigating the untimely death of a 35-year-old man who was found dead in a commuter parking lot late Monday afternoon.
Troopers from Troop E-Montville responded to the I-395 Exit 24 (old Exit 86) commuter lot at about 4:30 p.m. on the report of an unresponsive male inside a vehicle, according to Trooper First Class Kelly Grant.
Grant said troopers located the male, later identified as Russell MacDonald, of Jewett City, deceased.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner responded to the scene to assist with the investigation. The OCME will conduct a post-mortem examination to determine cause and manner of death, according to Grant.
“There is no foul play suspected,” Grant said in an email. “There is no criminal aspect to this untimely death. There is no threat to the public or community.”
