Montville HS 'Fight Club' Case Could Drag On For Months: Report

The case against the three Montville school administrators is continuing.

MONTVILLE, CT — The accused administrators and the local school board are preparing for a potentially lengthy legal battle in the Montville High School fight club case from last school year, reports The Day.

Montville Superintendent Brian Levesque, MHS Principal Jeffrey Theodoss and Assistant Principal Tatiana Patten were in court again Monday and had their cases continued. All have pleaded not guilty.

The three were charged with failing to report an abusive situation in connection with students being allowed to fight in a closed classroom while a now-fired substitute teacher monitored them.

All three administrators remain on paid leave, and attorneys for them tell The Day that they are willing to go to trial unless a resolution - a dismissal of the charges - is reached with prosecutors.
