Deans Mill Farm 

Built in the mid-1700s as a functioning livestock farm, Deans Mill Farm has gone through an evolution in recent decades. A full renovation of the historic buildings and rejuvenation of the surrounding 70+ acres has made the property into the incredible venue it is today. Deans Mill Farm now operates primarily as a private event space and five-room bed and breakfast tucked down a private road in Stonington, Connecticut. It shares its property with Dragonfly Equestrian Center and is home to dozens of horses. On the property lies meadows, hiking trails, beautiful fields and Dragonfly Disc Golf. Lt. Leonard Bunnell reported late this morning that Waterford Police have found  Ernest Ailing, a resident of the Shantok Group Home, who wandered away from the residence at about 5 p.m. Thursday. Ailing is 61, and is diabetic. Bunnell said Ailing was not in the best of shape when he was located, and has been taken to Backus Hospital. The Shantok Group Home, Bunnell said, is an assisted-living facility at 254 Route 32. If anyone has seen Ailing, please call the Montville Police at 860-848-7510.
