Montville Police Thank Town For Supporting Late Trooper's Family

A GoFundMe page has been established to assist the family of Trooper First Class Kevin Miller, who was killed while on duty on March 29.

MONTVILLE, CT — Montville police are thanking the community for its collective support for the family of Connecticut State Police Trooper First Class Kevin Miller from Troop C in Tolland, who was killed while on duty on March 29.

Services were held for Miller, a 19-year veteran, on Friday at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field.

"The generous people of the Town Of Montville have stopped by and shared donations for the Miller family as well as words of condolences to us regarding Trooper Miller and we are very thankful," wrote Montville police on the department's Facebook page. "We would like you to know that any donations delivered here will make it to his family."

Additionally, a GoFundMe page has been established to assist Trooper Miller's family. As of April 6, more than $23,500 had been raised toward a goal of $100,000.
