Update: Montville Schools, St. Bernard Have 2-Hour Delay
Also, there's no morning kindergarten in Montville. And Patch would love to see your snow photos!
Montville schools have a two-hour delay this morning, because of the snow, and there is no morning kindergarten.
Montvile Dispatcher Jon Leonard says there was a spate of accidents between 8 p.m. and midnight.
"The roads got really bad real quick," Leonard says.

There was one accident with a minor injury, Leonard reports. In one of the minor accidents, a fire hydrant was damaged near Cumberland Farms at 863 Route 32, Leonard says.
In addition, there was a minor tractor-trailer fire at RockTenn (the former Smurfit Stone). Leonard says it was a minor incident, lasting less than an hour. Montville and Mohegan fire departments, and an inspector from the Montville Fire Marshal's office responded.

Public Works plows were out all night, he says. And traffic on Route 2A is moving faster this morning than it was earlier in the night.
Troop E reports a few minor accidents overnight, and said that Route 164 in Preston is expected to be closed until afternoon. A car hit a pole near Amos Road, he says.
The day is supposed to end up sunny, but the National Weather Service predicts more snow tonight, continuing into Saturday, with 3-5 inches possible.
