More State Funding Requested For Montville Schools: Report
Schools Superintendent Brian Levesque says the district is facing the possibility of staffing cuts and the closure of an elementary school.

MONTVILLE, CT — Faced with cuts in state funding, Brian Levesque, Montville's Schools Superintendent, is urging parents to contact lawmakers to give more money to the district, reports WFSB-TV.
The district is expecting to receive about $11 million for next year, which is down nearly $2 million, according to the news station.
With a cut that large, as many as 25 teaching positions could be eliminated and an undecided elementary school could be closed.
