Neighborhood Watch Meeting on Friday

For folks living in Chapel Hill, The Manor and Lochdale Estates area, Montville Watch reminds people that there's a Neighborhood Watch meeting on Friday at 6 pm at Oakdale Fire House.

Fire Inspector Ed Shafer will be the guest speaker, giving fire safety tips, says Montville Police Officer Gregg Jacobson, who runs the Montville Watch Facebook page.

"This will be a good subject area with all the fires in the area," Jacobson says, adding that fire safety is really part of the program, as the Neighborhood Watch promotes the idea of  "everyone watching out for their neighbors," he says.
