Plainfield Woman Found Guilty In Dog Mauling Case: Report

Court officials said a Plainfield woman has been found guilty after her two dogs allegedly seriously mauled a home health aide.

DANIELSON, CT - A woman has been found guilty in a Plainfield dog mauling case, Eyewitness News 3 reported. The suspect was charged after her two dogs allegedly seriously mauled a home health aide.

Jenna Allen of Plainfield faces up to a year in prison after being found guilty on all 30 counts she had been charged with, according to Eyewitness News 3. The attack happened back in December 2014 as the victim, Lynne Denning, was caring for the suspect’s grandmother.

Police said Denning was sitting in a room with the grandmother when two of Allen’s five rottweilers lunged at her, Eyewitness News 3 reported. The dogs bit Denning in the face and chest, leaving her disfigured and in need of several surgeries.
