Montville, Connecticut State Police Make Arrests

March 10

At 10:39 p.m., Connecticut State Police arrested Anthony Hargrave, 31, an incarcerated inmate at Corrigan Correctional Institute, and charged him with assault on a correctional officer in the first degree. Hargrave was later released back into the custody of the Department of Correction at Corrigan on a $500 nonsurety bond, and scheduled to appear March 24 in Norwich.

At 11:01 p.m., police arrested Paul Dean Hillman, 52, of 1018 Grassy Hill Road, Oakdale, on an active arrest warrant for failure to appear. He was assessed a cash bond of $2,500 and given a March 17 court date in Norwich.

At 3:42 p.m., police arrested David Taylor, 68, of 431 Gay Hill Road 10, Uncasville, and charged him with driving an unregistered motor vehicle and driving while under suspension. He was released  on a $500 nonsurety bond and scheduled to appear in court in New London on March 24.

At 3:03 a.m., police arrested Angelico P. Salvatore, 46, of 30 Union St., Ansonia, and charged him with driving to endanger/speeding, failure to drive in the proper lane, and driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. The arrest came after police stopped Salvatore on Interstate 395 in Montville. He was given a court date of March 21 in Norwich.

March 11

At 6:17 p.m., police responded to the Mohegan Sun for a report of an accident. A Ford Explorer driven by Audie Dixon, 54, of 53 Wright Ave., New Haven, and a Toyota pickup driven by Mark Dion, of 64 Chestnut St., Wauregan, collided on entering a garage at Mohegan Sun. The report says that Dion left the scene of the accident. Dixon’s vehicle had minor damage to the rear passenger side taillight assembly. Dion’s Toyota was found parked inside another garage, with moderate damage to the front bumper area, according to the report. Dion was found inside the casino and was issued a misdemeanor summons for evading.

March 12

At 2:50 a.m., police arrested Lyndsy M. Shaw-Perkins, 33, of 210 Broadway, Apt. 1, Norwich, and charged her with failure to drive in the proper land, and driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. The arrest came after Shaw-Perkins was stopped at 77 Route 163 in Uncasville. She failed a field sobriety test, the report says, and was charged a $1,000 bond. A March 22 court date was set.

At 1:10 a.m., Montville Police arrested Charles C. Lobato, 50, of 271 Leffingwell Road, Uncasville, and charged him with failure to drive right, and driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. He was stopped on the Norwich New London Turnpike for a reported motor vehicle violation. Lobato was charged a $500 nonsurety bond, and given a March 22 court date.
