Route 163 opened at about 4 p.m., after being closed for a couple hours because of a leaking propane truck.
At approximately 2 p.m. today, a Suburban Propane tank truck began to leak at Courville’s Garage in the Overland Driveshaft parking lot.
Montville Fire Department responded and released the gas pressure to avert the risk of danger.

Route 163 was closed between the 395 ramp and Bridge Street. Kids from the area were held at Montville High School until the leak was cleared.
