Son ID'd As 'Person Of Interest' In Fatal CT Fire: State Police

GRISWOLD, CT — The son of the couple who were killed in a Dec. 20 fire in their Griswold home has been identified as the "person of interest" being sought in connection with the case, according to Connecticut State Police.

Authorities are asking for the public's help in finding Matthew Lindquist. His parents, Kenneth Lindquist, 56, and Janet Lindquist, 61, were killed in the fire at their Kenwood Estates home.

"Anyone who thinks they may have any information, or may know the whereabouts of Matthew Lindquist is asked to contact Det. Cuoco at 860-896-3235, Eastern District Major Crime at 860-896-3230, Troop C at 860-896-3200 or text TIP711 with any information to 274637," wrote state police officials in release. "All calls and texts may remain anonymous."
