Victims Identified In Fatal New London County Fire: CSP
The fire, one of two related fires, occurred on Dec. 20.

GRISWOLD, CT — A husband and wife have been identified as the victims of the fatal Dec. 20 fire at 70 Kenwood Estates in Griswold, according to Connecticut State Police.
The state Office of the Chief Medical Examiner conducted post-mortem examinations and determined that Kenneth Lindquist, 56, and Janet Lindquist, 61, were the two people who perished in the blaze. They both lived at the residence.
"The investigation remains active as detectives continue to follow leads and evidence," wrote state police in a release.

Detectives have developed a person of interest in the case, but their identity has not been disclosed publicly.

On December 20, 2017 at approximately 5:15 a.m., troopers from Troop E-Montville and the Griswold
Volunteer Fire Department responded to 70 Kenwood Estates in Griswold for a fully-involved house fire.
Also, [that] morning Connecticut State Police detectives from the State Police FEIU were requested by the
Glastonbury Police Department to assist with the investigation of a no injury, abandoned car fire at 40 Nanel
Drive, the Glastonbury Luxury Apartments in Glastonbury. Through the course of the initial investigation State Police detectives found that the vehicle is associated with the house fire in Griswold.
State Police detectives continue to investigate both fires.
