Tax Delinquents In Montville, Your Time May Be Up: Report
The town is getting tougher on those who owe back taxes.

MONTVILLE, CT — Montville officials are set to implement tougher tax collection policies following a unanimous vote in favor of the measure from the Town Council, reports The Day.
Over the past 15 years, the amount of outstanding back tax money had swelled into the millions of dollars, according to officials, prompting the movement toward tougher regulations.
Among the changes under the new policies, tax delinquents will be notified much sooner of their arrears and foreclosure measures can begin sooner. In the past, the town would wait two years before warnings were issued.
