Victims ID'd In Fatal Montville Double Stabbing: State Police

The Medical Examiner's Office also has ruled on the cause of death.

MONTVILLE, CT — Gertrude Piscezek, 77, and John Piscezek, 76, have been identified by Connecticut State Police as the victims in the double murder that occurred in Montville on Monday.

The two were killed in their Morgan Street, and their grandson, Marcus Fisher, 18, has been charged with murder in connection with the crime.

"The Medical Examiner’s Office has ruled the cause of death as a homicide and the manner of death was ruled a stabbing," officials stated.

Fisher, who is from Minnesota but recently had been living with the Piscezeks, is accused of stabbing the two following an argument, and then allegedly attempting to burn down the home, reports The Day.

Though he was not enrolled in school in Montville, Fisher recently had worked at a McDonald's in town. He turned 18 in November, according to the publication.

He remains in custody in lieu of bail of $1 million, and he is scheduled to appear in New London Superior Court at a later date.
