Week of June 25 Municipal Meetings

The Planning and Zoning Commission meets to review The Villages site plan, among other meetings slated.

 

Monday June 25

The Public Safety Commission meets at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers and among its agenda items is monthly statistics from the Fire Marshal, fire departments, police department, animal control and building department.

Also on Monday, the Town Administration/Rules and Procedures Study Committee meet at 5:30 p.m. in Room 102 in Town Hall. Its agenda includes a review of the town charter as it relates to the procedures for appointing people to boards and commission as well as a study of insurance coverage for the town registrar of voters, a budget issue.

Tuesday June 26

The Planning and Zoning Commission meets at 7 in Council Chambers to discuss, among other agenda items, a site plan for The Villages affordable housing project.  

The Finance Committee is also slated to meet Tuesday, at 5:30 p.m. in room 203 of Town Hall. There is no posted agenda.

Wednesday June 27

The Public Works/Solid Waste Standing Committee meets Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. in Room 102 in Town Hall to discuss, among other agenda items, bridge repair, tree trimming near power lines and Transfer Station operations.

Thursday June 28

The Public Safety Building Committee meets at 6 p.m. in Room 203 in Town Hall. There is no meeting agenda posted.
