• Moosup Elementary School briefly locked down after police report nearby situation (wfsb.com) — Moosup Elementary briefly went into lockdown Tuesday afternoon after Plainfield police alerted staff to an unknown situation just a few streets away, then cleared the area with no threat found. Students, staff, and visiting parents were reported safe, with dismissal and buses running normally after a classroom-by-classroom release that wrapped up an otherwise festive field day for the youngest grades.
