• Fire at Plainfield power plant under investigation: Officials (thehour.com) — Moosup firefighters joined Plainfield and Central Village crews Sunday morning to battle a blaze at the Plainfield Renewable Energy plant on Mill Brook Road, where no injuries were reported. Officials say the cause remains under investigation, and note it’s the second fire in four days the three departments have handled together, following a house basement fire on Lillibridge Road Thursday.
