100th Birthday Parade Scheduled for Ella Niski
Ms. Niski, the former president of the VFW Post 1946 and president of The American War Mothers, will turn 100 on Oct. 31.
NAUGATUCK, CT - Naugatuck resident Ella Niski of Weid Drive will be celebrating her 100th birthday on October 31, 2020.
Naugatuck neighbors will celebrating the special birthday on October 3, 2020 with a drive by parade. The celebratory parade will include fire trucks and cars decorated for the occasion. Participants are invited to meet at 11:45 AM in the McDonalds parking lot on New Haven Road.
If you have not had the chance to participate in a birthday parade that have become popular during the COVID 19 pandemic, I highly recommend being a part of this celebration. It is so much fun and I am sure that Ms. Niski will be delighted to see this drive-by celebration.

Ms. Niski has served as the president of the VFW Post 1946 and president of The American War Mothers; she was also recognized as the Mother of the Year for The Elks Club. The proud American marched in every Memorial Day Parade until she couldn't any longer.
