13th Annual Festival of Trees

This year United Way of Naugatuck & Beacon Falls will host its 13th Annual Festival of Trees at the Naugatuck Events Center, 6 Rubber Avenue in Naugatuck.

In the coming weeks, schools, community groups, individuals, businesses & organizations will be asked to contribute a decorated tree to the festival. We will provide the trees. We also have a limited number of wreaths available too! There will be no cost to you for the tree or wreath. You will be responsible for decorating the tree or wreath using a theme. I have attached a sheet with the criteria.

If you are interested in this exciting event and would like to request a tree or wreath, please email me at info@sbcglobal.net or call at 203-729-1564. Currently, we have 3 and 4 foot pre lit trees. When calling or emailing to reserve your tree please indicate what size you would like.

Thank you, we look forward to your participation.

How it works:
School classes, community groups, individuals, businesses & organizations contribute a decorated tree to the festival.

Designs:
All trees must be artificial. No living materials may be used, except dried flowers or other dried materials. Miniature lights are preferred. All items not attached directly to the exhibits, such as a tree skirt needs to be labeled in case of separation.

Secure Ornaments Please:
It is important that all ornaments be securely wired onto the tree. The exhibits will be moved and loose ornaments may fall off. During the Festival, hundreds of people come to view your designs and some cannot resist touching displays. We suggest that you use green florist wire, which is flexible and easy to use.

TREES MUST BE DELIVERED TO: NAUGATUCK EVENTS CENTER, 6 RUBBER AVENUE, NAUGATUCK, BETWEEN NOVEMBER 19 - 20 (3:00 – 6:00 P.M.) TREES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AFTER NOVEMBER 19TH.
