Victims In Waterbury Fatal Crash Identified: Reports
Two people died when a car struck other vehicles and a house in Waterbury on Sunday night, according to reports.

WATERBURY, CT — Two people were killed when a driver lost control, struck other cars, then ran into a house Sunday, according to NBC CT.
The two victims in the crash were identified Tuesday as Dashon Ortiz, 24, of Waterbury, and Storm Clinton, 22, of Waterbury, WTNH News-8 reported.
The crash was reported at 11:10 p.m. at the intersection of Long Hill Road and Transit Street in Waterbury.

An investigation found the car struck two parked, unoccupied vehicles, then hit a house on Long Hill Road. This caused the vehicle to flip on its side before it came to a stop.
The driver, Ortiz, was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger, Clinton, was taken to St. Mary's Hospital where she died due to her injuries, WFSB 3-TV reported.

The city's building inspector assessed the damage and determined that the house was still structurally sound.
The crash remains under investigation.
