Abused Naugatuck Dog On The Mend, Second Surgery Upcoming
Lucky has become so popular that there will be a specific website created for her adoption.

NAUGATUCK, CT — Lucky, a dog that has been severely abused, is on the mend and will have a second surgery in February, according to animal control staff.
In a social media post, officials say, "Lucky is doing GREAT!! She has had her STAPLES removed!! Her next surgery should be mid February 2020. We are GRATEFUL for YOU helping to get her better!!"
Also Lucky will be available for adoption in late February and or March and a specific website and email will be created for her adoption.

If you're not familiar with Lucky's story, she came to animal control in December. Lucky was abused and needed surgery for tumors in her belly and a hole in the roof of her mouth.
