Andrew Avenue School Music Video Released Today
Music teacher Christoper Denke asked teachers and staff to send him videos of themselves missing their students; here is the compilation.

Naugatuck, CT - Check out the video produced by Naugatuck music teacher Christopher Denke featuring the teachers and staff of Andrew Avenue Elementary School in Naugatuck.
Mr. Denke shared the link the YouTube video with the AAES faculty via email on Wednesday morning with this message: "Here is the long awaited video. Thank you to everyone for providing AMAZING videos. I hope you all like it!!"
The reaction from the faculty and staff was extremely positive.

Mr. Denke reminded his colleagues that is was not too late to submit a snippet to be included in the video. "If you have not submitted your video this weekend, no worries!...It would be awesome to have everyone in the final video. Remember 5-10 seconds, and be creative as possible!"
The video clips that the staff submitted for inclusion are indeed creative and showed just how much they are missing their students.

The five-minute video begins with this message: "Sometimes life can be tough. Due to things we cannot control... However...you should always know that the teachers and staff of Andrew Avenue MISS you..."
Then teachers begin to share brief videos of themselves (and often their pets) holding signs expressing how much they miss seeing their students at school.
"We CARE about you"
Some of the teachers and staff who appear include Mrs. Lennon, Miss Soucier, Ms. Foley, Mrs. Connolly, Ms. Feuerberg, Ms. Pines, Mrs. Sharkey, Mrs. Daikus, Mrs. Yammine, Mrs. Martin, Ms. Hebert, Mrs. Barker, Miss Claire, Ms. Longo, Mr. Meier on his guitar and Mr. Denke himself.
"We are proud of...and can't WAIT to see you again."
First grade teacher Mrs. Purcaro-Kudzma, wearing her AAES t-shirt, share some positive messages and is then joined by her husband Buddy dressed as Buddy the Elf.
"So don't give up on us..."
School nurse Mrs. Gregg reminds us all to wash your hands and PE teacher Mrs. Stone demonstrates some ways to stay active from her yard.
Miss Mattot and Mrs. Graziano perform a dance together, spaced well apart. There are also shots of a custodian and cafeteria worker waving.
