Shakespeare on the Sound will host Equity Principal and Non-Union open call auditions for its 30th Season production of Much Ado About Nothing on Thursday, January 29, 2026 from 10am to 6pm at Christ Community Church, located at 988 Post Road, Darien, CT 06820.

Apprentice Company Applications Open

Applications are open for the
2026 Apprentice Company

It's that time of year again! Shakespeare on the Sound
is seeking applicants for our 2026 Apprentice Company.

This year we are seeking artists for the following disciplines:
Acting, Directing, Playwriting, Education, Costuming, and Production.

2026 Apprentices will work on this summer's production of Much Ado About Nothing, as well as create their own 30-minute version of the play. If you or someone in your life is a young emerging artist, please send them our way. The application and all other pertinent information can be found on our website.

The deadline to apply for all Apprentice disciplines is Wednesday, March 1, 2026.

We look forward to reading your applications and to the warmth of the sun on our backs in beautiful Pinkney Park this summer.
