Ansonia Woman Threatened For Reporting Lack Of Social Distancing
An Ansonia woman said she's received backlash for reporting crowds on a local trail.
ANSONIA, CT — An Ansonia woman has received threats after she reported a lack of social distancing on the Naugatuck River Greenway, FOX 61 reported. She reported to the mayors of three area communities that on March 28 and 29, the trail was so crowded you couldn't see the pavement.
Ansonia Mayor David Cassetti agreed and recently closed the Ansonia portion of the trail.
The woman who reported the social distancing violations then received a threat from someone who told her that he hoped her and her kids would die of coronavirus, according to FOX 61.
