Archdiocese Of Hartford Announces Recent Clergy Appointments
There are several changes in parishes in the greater Waterbury area.
The Most Reverend Leonard P. Blair, S.T.D. (pictured above) has recently made the following appointments of priests and deacons. Most of the transfers/retirements were effective January 29, 2019.
Very Rev. Christopher M. Ford, has been transferred from Rector, Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, and Pastor of the Basilica Parish, Waterbury, to become Pastor at the Church of the Assumption Parish, Woodbridge, effective January 29, 2019.
Rev. Msgr. Gene E. Gianelli has stepped down as Pastor at the Church of the Assumption Parish, Woodbridge, and is granted Senior Status, effective January 29, 2019.

Rev. Jeffrey A. Gubbiotti was appointed Pastor of Assumption Parish, Ansonia, while continuing as Pastor, Holy Rosary Parish, Ansonia, effective January 29, 2019.
Rev. David M. Madejski, was transferred from Parochial Vicar, Our Lady of Mount Carmel and Saint Blaise Parishes, Waterbury, to Parochial Vicar, Assumption Parish, Ansonia, and Holy Rosary Parish, Ansonia, effective January 29, 2019.

Rev. James M. Sullivan, who was Pastor of Assumption Parish, Ansonia, has been transferred to Rector, Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, and Pastor of the Basilica Parish, Waterbury, effective January 29, 2019.
Rev. Sebastian K. Kos, who served as Pastor at Saint Francis of Assisi Parish, Naugatuck, has been named as Temporary Parochial Vicar, Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Manchester, effective January 29, 2019.
Rev. Hector G. Rangel, from Parochial Vicar, Saint Gregory the Great Parish, Bristol, to Parochial Vicar, All Saints Parish, Waterbury, effective January 29, 2019.
Rev. John Kuzhikottayil, SDB, was transferred from Parochial Vicar, Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, Waterbury, to Pastor, Saint Francis of Assisi Parish, Naugatuck, effective January 29, 2019.
Rev. E. Mauricio Galvis, who served as Parochial Vicar of All Saints Parish, Waterbury, was named Parochial Vicar, Saint John Paul the Great Parish, Torrington, effective January 29, 2019.
