Discussion of Board Member Vacancy and Replacement

The board decided that all current board members will meet with the potential candidates. Because there was a large number of letters of intent presented to the board, this will be cumbersome and require some time to complete. It was implied that 16 people asked to be considered for the one-year vacancy.

The board rejected forming a committee to complete the interview process in favor of all those who are able to attend the meetings do so. The board will compile of list of questions to ask each of the candidates during the interviews. Board chair Jeff Litke expressed his desire to be completely transparent in the process of filling the vacant seat.
