Barbara Davitt to Join CT Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame
Ms. Davitt has been part of the WATR AM team for many years; she will be inducted into the Hall of Fame next month.

Waterbury, CT - It's official: WATR's one and only Barbara Davitt will be inducted next month into the Connecticut Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame.

WATR General Manager Tom Chute announced during his morning drive time program on Monday that Ms. Davitt will be honored with this prestigious award. The long-time broadcaster will be one of four state radio personalities and programmers to receive the honor this year. The Class of 2018 is only the second one since the Hall of Fame was introduced three years ago. Ms. Davitt will be honored during the Hall of Fame Induction Dinner held at the end of the Connecticut Broadcasters Association Annual Convention 2018 on October 9, 2018 in Rocky Hill.In 2013, Ms. Davitt celebrated her 50th anniversary in broadcasting.
