Borough Scouts Prepare for Annual Scouting for Food
Did you find your yellow bag attached to your door on Saturday morning?
Naugatuck, CT -On Saturday, area Scouts prepared for their annual Scouting for Food event. Between Troops 138, 115, 102 and Webelos Pack 109 and area Girl Scouts, 16 out of 18 routes were completed and approximately 4,300 bags were distributed to area homes.
The Scout troops look forward to picking up these full bags next Saturday between 9am and noon so they can get the food pantry stocked for those in need. Cereal, peanut butter and jelly are especially needed. Bathroom items such as soap, shampoo and toilet paper are also welcome.
